GT alloys

The standard GT wheel is a multi spoke I believe.

I am getting new alloys........... what do you reckon is the best looking alloy?

Attach a picture to ilustrate your point.

Have a good weekend.

Re: GT alloys

I have the blackline 18's on mine and absolutely love them. Other than these i quite like the ones auto delta do for the Brera but not sure if you can get them for GT. Also check out most recent issue of Auto Italia, there's an article on a GT prepared by a company called L&M i think. Really nice alloys.

Not to nick your post Brickman but the 18"ers are an option. I think you meant they are Alfa OEM.

The standard wheels on the GT are 16" and don't look all that good at all - They ride and feel better, though.

heres a photie of mine with 18" Spider alloys as well.....

Christ, I'd forgotten how good my car looks. Roll on the summer.........

Re: GT alloys

there's heaps of options, especially if you're prepared to use wobbly bolts (ie: to use 5x100 PCD wheels) or spacers, and more choices if you don't have Brembo front calipers (which are difficult to find wheels to 'clear'); your JTD is fine in this regard.

i have ATP Tecnoforming 19s. very happy.

otherwise, from the german GT forums (interestingly, the german guys luv 19s, which is where i got my inspiration from):

there's more from their forums if you check out their galleries.

most UK owners seem to prefer the 'factory' alfa wheels, which is fair enough.

GT . 3.2 . Q2 . Kyalami Black - Red . Eibach . KONI . ASSO . ATP 19" . TAROX . FERODO . Mille Miglia exhaust
155 . 2.0 8V TS . Grigio Grey - Grey . H&R coilover . Enkei 17" . TAROX . GOODRIDGE . REMUS
75 . 3.0 . Alfa Red - Grey

Re: GT alloys

i would personally stay with alfa made alloys, they look much better. there are very few after market wheels that suit, a few exceptions but not many, in my opinion!

Re: GT alloys

Wouldn't mind the OEM GT 18" alloys as these look very nice, but although they would fit, not sure if they would spoil the drive on the 156?

Me too, although if anyone has 17" gt alloys they want to change I'll take them off their hands....

Re: GT alloys

It would have to be 17" Toora 230's (same style as the 18" GT wheels).

Mmmm, they're pretty smart and not far off the OEM 18"s.

I love my alloys - but cleaning them is a real pain...takes well over an hour...

Jeez Chris, I know just what you mean. Those 18"ers were designed by a sadist!

Luckily, Ned at Autolusso gave me some magic juice and a tickling stick that gets right in between the spokes. But heck, Ive still got to get suited up in protective wear 'cos of the spray back off the brush bristles.

Still think they are the best looking alloys (by a mile) for the GT.

The do look good yes. Any idea if the cap / badge can be interchanged with the Alfa logo (off my old 16" alloys)?
