How about a used '06 159 wagon, or a cheaper alternative facelift 156 wagon?

Re: Vans Plans....

Sounds like a good idea but get the 500 as I think in the long term the residuals will be much better than a smart.

Re: Vans Plans....

yeah - but fundamentally, anyone who buys one is living in a world of their own......you can't do owt wi them, they fall over, a reliant robin would pulverise one, a wheelbarrow would pulverise one, they are totally naff, especially with any fancy graphics, and they are deeply flawed as a design.

a 20 yr old skoda estelle is far preferable

Re: Vans Plans....

i wouldnt buy a 500 yet, its always best to wait until they identify and then fix the faults on any new model. no point owning a new car if its sat at the dealership getting fixed. the GP and bravo had the usual teething troubles so i dont expect the 500 to be any different.

and always remember the golden rule of owning a smart, no warranty no good.
