Should I buy this cloverleaf?

I've been offered a mint condition 145 cloverleaf for £850.

89K on the clock, full service history, black leather, air con, cd changer....

The cars in dark metallic red and I'm very tempted.

Bonnet chips are quite bad, but other than that..

Have a good look at it in person. It sadly might be too good to be true?
Otherwise, yeah go for it!

Re: Should I buy this cloverleaf?

My mate bought a roughish 145clf in alfa red with about 80k miles a little over a year ago for a grand and with some work sold it very quickly for £1500. A minter with a full FSH £850 doesn't sound bad. The metallic red makes a welcome change from Alfa Red and personally I think looks good on the 145 - sounds a barg. They are fast and rorty!!! BUY IT

Re: Should I buy this cloverleaf?

Having owned both (145 Cloverleaf and 156 V6) i would say the 156 is the better car. I remember i didnt like the high driving position of the 145, the way the body used to roll or the interior quality .
Good throttle liftoff oversteer fun though.

Wouldnt worry too much about the stone chips, i had mine from new and the bonnet was dashed within 20k miles

I have a lovely 156 2.5 V6 for sale, just to confuse you.

You seem to keep trying to justify it to yourself when you know very well what has to be done...

Re: Should I buy this cloverleaf?

Well, it looks like a bargain, but what are you going to do with it? Its very impractical to keep two cars on the road, nevermind expensive (don't I know it!)

You probably would be daft not to buy it, but what are you going to do with it once you have it?
