GTA Bedtime

Just popped in the garage to empty the dehumidifier and to wish the Alfa goodnight........check and see if he is ok........admire that shiny muscular bodywork.........etc. I've got one of those dehumidifiers that give out heat as well so its quite cosy in there for him.

I am walking 1.5 miles to work each way rather than get him dirty, wet and salty....

Anyone else have strange rituals/tendencies like this........??!!!!

Yeah mad as a hatter - Get some cold damp winter air in it to use those BHP's and give it a mega jet wash underneath once a week.

Walk to your work in the summer! Have you seen the weather forecast for the restof the week!

Re: GTA Bedtime

Too true especially when on the choke and accelerating through the gears the mpg meter drops into single figures

At least my old 147 2.0 would do in the thirties......

Yeah it's getting cold down here too. Smart red covers on your V6 engine by the way

I've actually kissed my steering wheel badge beforeI got out of the car.

Oh dear..... oh dear oh dear....

I've only done this once...for the record.

But I like it officer!

Re: GTA Bedtime

I once stroked the dashboard and apologised for the bad things i'd said about her to my friends and that I really did like her and that she hadn't gone wrong in a long time contrary to what I was telling my friends.
It was just after she punished me by not changing into second. Once i'd apologised everything was fine.
Can I take this straight jacket off yet?

Re: GTA Bedtime

I often kiss the steering wheel badge in thanks for her getting me home without breaking down or going wrong!

But i do find myself involuntarly stroking the wheel arches as i walk past her!
