Thumbs Up Fantastico

Always wanted one and now I've got him (yes he's definitely a he). Got a brand spanking new black 159 1.9 JTDm yesterday and drove back from Yorkshire today.

Bought him fron Piccadilly Motors in Knaresborough and dealt with David whose a member of this forum. I can't recommend them, and David in particular, enough. Nothing was too much trouble and I'm now seriously thinking of taking a long weekend in Yorkshire in about a year and getting the service done there also.

As for Vito (sad I know but he has a name! ) he's fantastic. Already excellent performance and handling and he's not loosened up yet. Fuel consumption on the drive home appears really good.

I can now join in discussions on AO as a real Alfisti. Thanks to everyone here for helping in my planning.

Steve

Re: Fantastico

You got a gourmet 159! all that fuel economy too with the diesel. I saw one this morning on the walk in to work (my 147GTA is too precious to actually drive to work in!) a 2.4JTD Sportwagon - absolutely beautiful proportions no other saloon/estate car in that sector comes close in the style stakes..... I'm kinda wanting one now.

Re: Fantastico

If I was looking to get a sensible car next, that's probably the one I'd get.

Well done, and welcome
