Tyres

Just thought I'd put up a post about Bracknell Tyres.

They fitted and balanced a pair of Goodyear Eagle F1's of me today £120 all in.

Good price, great service, didn't scratch the alloys.

Not bad at all! Right close to me too!
What size were they? Could do with some tyres soon.

Re: Tyres

Thats a good deal. I paid £110 for a pair for my car, although that was without fitting.
I may have to drive down to bracknell next time I need some boots.

Re: Tyres

That's very, very good.

I have also had a pair of Goodyear Eagle F1's fitted today by Event Tyres who came to my house, they were £145.00 the pair.

TBH I tried locally to and couldn't get them any cheaper so I've done it through Event who were very efficient, punctual and friendly, I would use them again unless I decide to drive to Bracknell that is!

Re: Tyres

Goodyear GSD-3 F1's are coming down in price as there is the new Assemetric F1 out.
Bracknell tyres have alway's been ultra competetive on price and their main supplier is Micheldever in Hant's.
Sometimes I cannot buy tyres wholesale for the price they are selling at. Last GSD-3's i had in were sold at £69.35 inc vat etc fitted.

Re: Tyres

Had Clare's GT shod with the new tyres c/o Event Tyres this morning. Very, very impressive. What a cool setup on the van

Really careful & good at what they do. All tools are plastic coated to avoid damaging the alloys. Wheel bolts torqued up too.

£360 for 4 x 225/45/17 94Y Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tyres is a bargain IMHO.

Dave the fitter was a really nice fella too

Overall 10/10

Cheers,

Re: Tyres

Simon, keep us updated on the Asymmetric's as that will probably be my next purchase.

Re: Tyres

i wanted some of those but couldnt find anywhere with them in stock. needed tyres quickly and ended up with toyo proxes. quite like them. but i paid thru the nose. came to about 400 for 4 fitted. however in the future i now get 10% off all those prices. so would be 360 fitted.

Will do. They are on Clare's car and she reports they are like tyres At least she tells me the balancing seems spot on
