Looky Looky and it finally happened rac to the rescue

So as i was leaving work yesterday thought i would treat the mrs to a lovely cooked meal and a suprise you all know the drill

I rush outside because i have some shopping to do etc and i turn the key in the lovely alfa and ...... nothing but a load of clicks, so by this time all my work mates are coming out 'ohh look the alfa has let you down' noo its the battery.

one moment fine and dandy the next its dead ohh great so after 45 mins of waiting for the rac just in case it is somthing a bit more serious i finally get home with the mrs laughing at me

but she is back today with a fresh charge in her and a new battery is on the way yes!!

but they say it comes in three and thats my three 1st was my sounds did not work, then my brakes light went, now the battery so thats it now no more probs with the 147 (touch wood)

thanks for reading

richy.

Well, last night on the way back from work the wife stopped off to get me some fish and chips. When she came out her car (a Freelander) wouldn't start. The battery seemed okay, but it wouldn't turn over (or even click). Luckerly she was on a hill, so I bumped started it.

Seems okay today though - but its not just Alfas that break down
