Fatal Accident Involving Alfa Romeo 156

Sadly there was a fatal accident yesterday near where to I live. Unfortunately the motorcyclist was killed at the scene. It invloved a 156 driven by a 62 year old from Middlesex, I hope he was not an AO member.

Re: Fatal Accident Involving Alfa Romeo 156

This is very close to home for me had an accident last year in which someone was killed. Passenger in a car had an argument with her husband and got out of the car and ran straight into the a34 missing one car and straight in front of my car. Very dark and no lighting so I didn't see a thing. She came through the windscreen and was killed instantly. Have only just tried driving again during the day and can't even be a passenger after dark. The insurance agreed to write the car off on compassionate grounds and hopefully given time I'll be able to drive an alfa again.

Biglebowski

That's awful - It is one of my worst fears being involved in a fatal crash. I drive regularly on the A34 and must admit it is dangerous.

There's nothing much more I can say but I wish you all the best

Awful for her family and you as an innocent to be caught up in something so tragic. Gosh.

Really hope you get back to driving an Alfa soon - all the best with everything

I am speechless. It's only a matter of time, but you will regain your confidence back. I wish you all the best in doing so.

Re: Fatal Accident Involving Alfa Romeo 156

The OP is sad enough but Bigleb's incident made me feel sick I hate the way the article is written too. No compassion for Bigleb who was, is & always will be affected by what happened to him 'cause of this woman. I've always though I'd bounce back from a non fault fatal but I'm still nervous after my non fault accident back in September. I'd hate to be in the position where someone got killed

I have no words to offer,
Just quite thoughts,
And a prayer, that all members and their families have safe passage on our congessed highways.no matter how near or how far they travel in 2008.

I was caught up in the aftermath of the A590 incident.

Heartfelt sympathy to the family of the motorcyclist.

Its always a fear in the back of my mind when im out on my CBR600.

No fear.........no way !

Terrible tragedies.

Having any sort of accident can be traumatic enough, but what Biglebowski went through must be truly awful.
Hope you regain your confidence soon and enjoy driving once more.

That is just terrible.

Three lives ruined in one day; The deceased, the driver, and the poor motherless child.

No to mention the families of those involved. Just tragic.
