Re: New alloys

what version spider do you have? GTA wheels won't fit a current model.

Re: New alloys

no probs. yes, the wheel fitment is the same for that series spider/GTV and 147/156/GT. but the latest spider/brera/159 have a very different fitment. hence my question.

good luck. i think the wheels suit the car nicely.

but i question the quality of the wheel: from same factory as original alfa vs copies. they seem too cheap to be 'originals' don't they? i suppose that's why you're asking!

Re: New alloys

are the wheels 'genuine' or copies? can you tell? i suppose the original factory wheels are made by Toora, right? are these wheels stamped with 'Toora'?

just curious. cos they seem very well priced indeed, to the point of 'too good to be true' to be Toora wheels.

I think people have mentioned previously that they are copies.

Re: New alloys

Threads merged as on the same topic. I asked GTA Italian wheels for a quote and the wheels are made by Toora but are marked non-OEM.

I ended up using Italian eBay seller Bestmarket13 for a great wheel & tyre deal (for my 156).

Hope this helps

Thanks for the info. I presumed they were not "official" wheels and we wouldn't be paying for the "official" privilege (whatever that is)

Re: New alloys

Bestmarket13 sells genuine alfa wheels & new tyres sets, DHL expressed to your home. I got a set of 4, 17", GT / 156 Veloce "upgrade" wheels, with Potenza RE050-A tyres for £698 delivered

Checkety check them out

Re: New alloys

just ordered a 17" Ti wheel from bestmarket13 on ebay - 130euros delivered (about £95). i'm not sure if the ones sold by GTA italian wheels are genuine or not. i have a buckled one sitting in the back garden which was originally supplied by mangoletsi but i know for a fact that mango's bought a job lot from GTA in preston. anyway, the buckled one has the "not original equipment" stamp, so evidently mango's don't care if they're original or not. i opted for them when i bought the car and they charged me £800 fitted with yokohama tyres, but of course they got to keep the 16" standard multispokes and whatever tyres were on them

Doesn't sound such a great deal when you say it like that
