Car history

Thought it might be interesting to see what everones previous cars were, and what cars theyre planning on getting next?

Citroen AX gt 1.4 (twin choke one - light plastic flimsy fun)
Astra 1.4 (4 speed tank)
Pug 306 d turbo (honest cheap motoring)
Mondeo 1.8 (company car) (aka skip)
Mazda mx5 1.6 (just for the summer)
Pug 306 xsi 2.0 (the money pit - headgasket etc etc)
Fiesta 1.25 (company car) (burnt out clutch within a week to get rid of it)
Astra sri 2.2 (company car) (that was more like it - as I wasn't paying for the fuel - a thirsty motor!)
Golf GTTDI (if only it handled better!)
Volvo S60 (powerful motor, bad image though)
Alfa GTV 2.0 (superb car, but always wanted.......
Audi TT 1.8 (current motor and love it - for now)

Next car: not too sure?
Perhaps a Brera for me and an Audi s3 for the Mrs

Sorry if this appears to be a 'plug' for my beetle coupe 4WD BTW

Re: Car history

I dunno what I'll get next.....kinda in a quandry:

I'd like a Brera but don't see the point until the promised updates kick in: new engines and lightened chassis.

The current line up seems to me to lack engine choice.

1985 Cavalier 1.6 (written off)
1986 Fiat Uno 45S (scrapped)
1986 Fiat Uno 45S (not as good as the first so sold it and kept the first until it died)
1983 Alfasud Ti QV
1988 Fiat Tipo 1.6
1983 VW Polo 1100
1990 Citroen BX 1.9D (still the only diesel we've had)
1990 VW Passat Estate 2.0
1990 Alfa 33 P4
1994 Fiat Uno 1.4
1993 Fiat Tempra SW 2.0
1983 Alfasud Sprint Veloce (current)
1998 Alfa 146Ti (current)
1987 Fiat Cinquecento Sporting (current)

Future? Mmm, almost bought a 155 this morning, but hanker after a GTV. I've got a house to build first though......

And what a diesel - if you're going to have one, may aswell be the trusty old 1.9 citroen engine! Solid as a rock
