Re: Donald Mackenzie

Used them a couple of times, but it was eight or so years ago so I'm not sure how relevant this'll be.

They were absolutely fine for a service that I got done - did what they said they'd do, when they said they'd do it. Plus they're nice people to deal with, which counts for a lot.

Only problem was that I needed the clock replaced, which they said they'd order in and call me. Days turned to weeks, turned to months, until slightly over three months later I called up to ask about it and they said "it arrived this morning, believe it or not". I chose 'not', but never mind.

Went back and got the clock fitted, during which they broke the instrument brightness adjuster. First hard braking on the way home, a screwdriver rolled out from under the driver's seat.

After my first visit I was pretty happy with them. If I hadn't ever gone back, I'd have been happy to recommend them. After the second visit, I'd say they were a bit careless.

But like I say, it's probably too long ago to be relevant. Besides, I'm still using that screwdriver today, so I can't grumble too much.

Re: Donald Mackenzie

Do all of my own repairs & service so cannot comment on that but the Parts Staff are very helpful and all of the parts I have ordered have arrived. They normally phone when things come in.
