Had mine done two weeks ago at 4 1/2 years old and 61,000 miles. No signs of anything untoward on old belt. Cost was £512, but there was £225 of parts inc £71 +vat for a thermostat which bumps it up a bit.
With the diesels the belt is a lot tougher. Its the rollers and the tensioner that that get dirt in the bearings and wear out. Thankfully failures before 72 are quite rare. Unlike on the petrol TSs.
V6 interval is still officially 72, but i'd say 45 after advice from my specialist. Above 50,000 the V6 cambelts reliability decreases markedly.
