twinnie alternator removal

Hi guys got to change the alternator. So have this question. Do you recommend below removal or from above removing the plenum chamber? will it come through the top?

Well you would need to remove the dogbone mount on the LHS (looking from front), in order for the engine to move forward enough to get the plenum off, once thats out of the way then removal from top is easy.
However, having said that, I've always removed mine from the bottom, but that means removing the exhaust downpipe, which i find easier than trying to get plenum and its attachments off.
