156 2.0 L Engine Hoses

This may seem like a strange question but is there such a thing as a list of the hoses used in a 2.0 TS engine?
I'm fitting a new engine and I would like to replace all the hoses with silicone ones while i'm at it.
I've no idea what I need though?

Re: 156 2.0 L Engine Hoses

Can you get silicon ones that are shaped in the same way?

You going to do just the rad ones or all the heater hoses as well?

Do the pics below help? I basically pulled all the pics I could find on the eper system and this is of a 2.0 TS engine. Can you work out which ones are hoses and which are metal pipes from these? Note there are two small rubber pipes on the oil filter housing as the TS doesn't have an oil cooler.

Brilliant, Gary. I should be able to work it out from that. I'm actually waiting on a copy of the eper cd so with the part numbers from the drawings I should be able to figure it out.
With regard to getting the correct shaped hoses, tbh, I don't know. I should be able to get most of them from a local hydraulic hose supplier but maybe not all. I'd like to replace all of them if possible while the motor is out.
Starting to get a bit excited by this project now!
Thanks for the help...

Re: 156 2.0 L Engine Hoses

you can get kits with all the hoses you need in the correct shapes.
i cant see the 156 listed with samco
http://www.samcosport.com/samco.asp?make=alfa%20romeo
but there are many other suppliers.

however using a 2.0 kit on a 1.8 car may not work, it depends if the rad, heater matrix and expansion tank are the same, which i would assume they are, but i dont know for certain.

if you can get the correct size and shape hoses at a hose supplier i'd be very surprised, although you can bend and join hoses to suit your needs so it can be done.

Re: 156 2.0 L Engine Hoses

I haven't ruled out changing a lot more than the engine TBH. The rad will be new for certain just to be certain that the cooling is up to scratch.

I'll give samcosport a call.
