Re: Engine cut out problems whilst driving my Gtv

Get it to an Independant or dealer ASAP it could be an engine management fault or an immobliser fault either way engine cuting out at speed is dangerous

Unless you have a diagnostic PC you can't tell like I say get it to a garage to check out

Hope this helps

Re: Engine cut out problems whilst driving my Gtv

Is it a V6?. Are you sure it's cutting right out or is it the throttle-pot drop-out problem experienced by me and others with V6's on here. This used to happen aftera large bump in my car, the injector light would come on and it would appear to lose power completely. That was untill I discovered that if I kept my boot in the power would creep up very slowly. Traced to a bad connection, in the car, to the throttle pot.
