New - Motul Sport 5W-40 at Opie Oils

Opie Oils have increased the choice of performance ester synthetic 5w-40 engine oils with the addition of the NEW Motul Sport 5W-40

Priced at Ł48.98 (before club discount) 5 litres of MOTUL Sport 5w-40 sits perfectly between the ever popular MOTUL 8100 X-Cess 5w-40 and MOTUL 300v 5w-40. It has specifically formulated by MOTUL for the UK market and to compete against other fully synthetic ester based 5w-40 engine oils that are used for fast road, track and competition use.

If you have any questions regarding this new MOTUL product or any other product we stock then we are here to help. You can call us Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm, send us an email to [email protected] or just ask us on the forum.

Bye for now

Hi guys,
I have make pleasure to my engine 2.4jtdm 154kw (AR159).
I have already do "research" on OIL topic on wide internet and i make my choice.
Motul 300v power 5w-40.
My engine is using short distance drives, it is often cold and when is heated (traveling more then 20km), then I using his full potencial.
Have somebody experience with using these oil in JTDm engine ?

I can't think of anyone using the 300V in a 2.4 JTDm, but there have been a fair few others using similar oils (Fuchs Pro S, Millers CFS and Gulf Competition) in that engine.

Cheers

Tim

Ak chodíš veľa krátkych trás nechaj ho tam max do 10tkm, ak ju moc moc ľúbiš každých 5tkm a vymeň vždy aj filter.

Hi, you have told here that it is between xcess and 300v. Do you advice us to use it on tuned 147 1.9 jtd instead of xcess?

Hi

Yes, the Sport would be a good option instead of the X-Cess.

Cheers

No komprendo muchacho? That was for pedro m. It's written in Slovak and he is from the Czech republic (we are both from the former Czechoslovakia). He's English is evidently horrible so I responded in something more native.
