Clutch Going Going Gone! (Nearly)

On my way home from work over the weekend I noticed the clutch went very heavy and you now have to slowly release the clutch otherwise cuts out.
I have a 156 2.4 JTD (Y) were is the best place to get a clutch kit for it also does this have a Duel Mass Flywheel as I assume im going to have to change this aswell.

Many thanks

More often than not the flywheels are OK on the 5 cyl models. They are dual mass, but quite hardy. Are you doing the work yourself or getting a garage to do it? It's a big job, front subframe needs to come of and engine supported. Perfect time to change the front anti roll bar bushes too.

I would love to say yes I am doing it myself but long story short my tools got stolen along with my last 156 1.8 t spark so no I will not unfortunately. I have heard extremely good reviews of alfa tecnico and there not to far from me so they will more than likely be doing the work. That's good news about the fly wheel I know normally there pretty robust but as you mentioned subframe and others need to come off so thought it would be responsible to do the flywheel aswell but that is now going to save me 300+ so happy me

Its only 6 bolts once you have the clutch off, I don't charge extra labour to change the flywheel when I am changing the clutch. I suppose some might charge an extra 1/4 of an hour or something.
