Unfortunately, I don't know, they don't list Alfas, but if you know if the Alfa plug would fit another car, we can work it out that way. Their information is aimed at the main American market, so there are a few makes missing.

Cheers

If you can post the dimensions and thread pitch most people can work it out.

For those who don't look closely clicking on each of the plugs brings up information on thread pitch and diameter. labourious to check each one but does make it possible. Perhaps OPIE would tabulate the information and make it abailable. I suspect it would increase the sales in all the forums they post in and is, afterall, a single exercise for them.

We are getting there. The problem now is if you don't know the thread size you have to drain the oil to measure it and then sit around waiting for your replacement plug.

All we really need now is the likes of, Alfa Workshop, AHM, Auto Lusso etc to hold some stock and offer the sump plug change as an option on the next service etc. or tell the world what the sizes are.

I've had some data from our supplier and apparently all Alfas from 1986 need a 22mm plug, it's called a AP22, but they don't yet have it available over here. There are due to be another lot of the plugs arriving soon in more sizes, so hopefully that will be one of them.

Cheers

What about gearbox drain plug and diff drain plugs
My jtdm had magnet in gearbox drain already but not in the diff drain plug?
Is there room for magnetic head or does it seal on the face, i never saw into hole.
edit time on my hands so checking eper part numbers
magnetic gearbox drain plug is 7751645 and appears to fit a lot of alfa fiat cars (already available quick ebay )
the diff drain plug is different part number and is 7751644 nothing found yet
