Alfa 156 Gta

Alfa 3.2 V6

GTV6, 75 & 164 2.5 & 3 litre engine

Is it the same basic engine as the 3.2 busso or a totally different engine.

Not sure about the older versions, but the GT V6 is the same as the 147 and 156 GTA. Good thread here:

Very similar.
Just a few changes over the years.
Cambelt layout on the later engines is better for example.

Just remember that there are several differences between the 3.0 24v V6 in the 164 and the later engines.

Good book that covers the early evolutions of the Busso but not the 24v 3.2 version at all maxiboy.
