A 2.0 JTS description from Cuori Alfisti

Machine translated from Italian, so a little difficult to read, but it told me some things I did not know. The links at the top left of the page mostly work and are quite interesting.

Thanks for an interesting link! Nice to have some original (?) figures as well.

12 years on since the debut of the JTS, with all the common issues that have been experience with this engine this is quite fun:
"Ultimately, the JTS technology is presented from the very beginning to the market as a worthy heir to the glorious architecture Twin Spark"

That's streching it quite a bit, Alfa

I like several things about my JTS. First of all it is very rev-happy (that's also shared with the TS), and it revs so effortlessly like it's the most natural thing in the world. Love it! It has a pretty flat torque curve from low down, so it's not useless for normal driving. And if you want to, it will do 44 mpg on long hauls.

But let's be honest - it's not very impressive by other car makers standards. It has way to many maintenance and reliability issues, some partly forgiven by the fact that it's Alfa's first direct injection.
The japanese Honda S2000 F20C with 250 PS (183.88 kW) @ 9,200rpm is impressive. And reliable like a wood burning stove. (Forgive me for saying this
