Help 156 2.4 Engine Swap Questions

Hi,

I have a few questions regarding swapping 2.4 engines in my Alfa.

I have a 2002 140bhp 156 saloon that sucked up a load of water last night, certainly sounds like a few bent valves!

The other car is a 2002 150bhp 156 SW which is very rough and only 1 month MOT so I'm looking at putting the 150 motor in the 140 car.

I'd like to keep the 140 ECU and Injectors/turbo as it was running 229hp/380lbft

Apart from the obvious, what is the easiest way of doing this?

My plan is:
140 shell, 150 motor, 150 hp pump with 140 injectors and 140 ECU. - would this combination work straight away or would I need to reprogram anything?
I have MPPS cable so could IMMO off in EDC15 but I'd rather just turn the key and go!

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

John.

It should be fine If your using all the original engine management system and loom. Swap over the manifolds and any electrics on to the new engine
