Twin Spark Alternator query

A bit of help please, I need a new alternator for my 145 2.0 qv. Do I need to buy one specifically for a 145 or will a gtv/147/166 etc fit. My car is 2000 W reg car.

All help appreciated

Simon

Pretty much any TS one will do......I've got plenty......

PITA to change, though.

Shame I just sold one for £25.
The 147 alternators all seem to be 105amp. 156 depending on year seem to be 90amp hrs.

All will fit but you may need to change pulleys over. Not that critical as the belts are not toothed etc.

Its my pulley that is the problem, it sounds like the bearings have gone.

So it sounds like i do need one specifically for my 145 yeah ????

Not really they all chuck out the same voltage. Its the current that changes with revolutions.
In any case you can fit the majority of TS ones if you can not find one specifically for the 145.
