Which Coolant 2.0TS 147?

I was checking oil last night and noticed the coolant is below the minimum mark by a fair bit. It is pink in colur and I'm guessing is Paraflu. Is it Ok to top up with another brand and if so what is best to use and readily available? Thanks.

You should try and use the same type but if you can still see the coolant in the expansion tank, you can top it up with water

Thanks guys. All sorted, managed to pick up some Paraflu from the dealer for £11, which isn't bad. Now just got to hope it isn't a leaking rad!

"Paraflu"
or
"Paraflu Up"

??

They are different.
"Paraflu Up" is the pink/red/orange type.

Maybe Paraflu Up then. It was pink/red colour.

As long as the color was same, I think it should be fine. IIRC there are essentially two types of coolants: ethylenglycol based (blue or green in color) and organic acid based (pink/red), and you can pretty much mix any coolants as long as they are of the same type - ethylenglycol with ethylenglycol, or organic acid with organic acid.
