Alfa 166

Purchased an Alfa 147 Service pack (5L oil + 1L carry pack and Oil Filter) Fuch Fully Synth 5w40 Stuff. Cant remember the actual name. Anyway it wasn't much over £28.

Also thought i'd buy some new gear oil since I have no idea when it was changed on my car.

Just coming up to 7000miles and using the 5w60 Seleina doesn't warm up quick enough for my journeys (only seems to loosen up a bit once on the motorway). So hope the Fuchs stuff is a little better being as its 5w40.

Shame you can't buy the gear oil in larger than 1L packs. Since the Alfa uses 2L.
The gearbox oil was more expensive than the actual engine oil.

In anycase delivery with discount came out on the good side of £50. Pretty hard to beat considering you get an extra 1L on the engine oils.
Eurocarparts oil selection is pants too.
So happy chappy as least its decent stuff.

Thanks very much.

Regards
Scott

Thanks for the order.

The gear oil does cost a bit, but remember it will last a lot longer than engine oil.

Cheers

The UFI ones are good, definitely on a par with the Mahles.

Cheers
