1750 TBi remap

This is what I just did to my 159 SW TBi
Remapped by a reputed local tuning shop. A lot more responsive at all gears and RPM. Max boost is about the same as before, maybe 0.1 bar higher, if any. Fuel consumption is the same, or a little better if not pushed hard.

true, but I'm in SA and we only have 95 octane so was wondering what fuel those gains were produced on so I couls calculate if we would see similar gains running on our stuff.

it is dynoed with 100 octane fuel. with 95octane it is estimated to give about 230bhp. it would be interesting to know the accuracy of the dyno, but if it is off by a few bhp, that's still a nice gain.
actually I'm a little worried how the gearbox and the clutch will hold up for the vastly increased torque, as I've read about bearing problems with the M32 gearbox on Opels.

My car gave 161.4kW (216bhp) and 354Nm on a dyno on 95 octane in SA with -3% ambient correction on the day. I was impressed as it is rated at 147kW. The dynamometer is quite accurate and calibrated.

I'd like to know what it would give with a remap!
