Oil filters Tecneco - are they good?

Hi guys
I'm planning to do an oil change and am looking around e-shops for filters etc. and need help to decide which filter brand should I pick. In particular, I found some Tecneco oil filters for a good price, so would like to ask if anyone has some experience with them and would recommend them.
In particular I found types OL519 and OL110 - both match the part number 46808398, so both should fit. (Car is AR146, engine 1.8 TS plastic top.)
Thanks in advance

Jan

Well, I don't know if I can actually get a "genuine" one here (Czech Republic) - browsing through local e-shops, I found some Tecneco filters, then Mann, Bosch, Fiaam, Champion, UFI... I was thinking about getting either Mann or Bosch, seems like they have a good reputation, but wanted to ask about Tecneco as well.

Mann, Champion or Fiamm are probably the best on your list ... I've used all of them over the years ...

Fram are also a decent make and I have used them a few times with no problems.

Ok, guess I'll go for Mann then; this brand seems to be the most preferred one in various discussions. Thanks to everyone for their comments

Fram are grand and so are Wix filters. Sure they are all nearly outsourced anyway.

Tecneco oil filters are Italian and they have been in the business since 1967 and are manufacturer's of O.E filters for Dacia and Renault.

I have always used either original Alfa, Fram or Wix on all the Alfa's I look after... But the technology and manufacturing process that goes into modern filters, pretty much any established company is as good as each other... Out of tens of thousands I have used and fitted at work over 25 years, I have had one premature failure in an oil filter (original Ford equipment on a Focus) Say no more!
Not a bad return on the numbers used really... Fit it with confidence mate
