How can you see that there's a puff of white smoke when you change gear?
White smoke is usually condensation in the exhaust.. (water). If you're out driving for short trips in a cool and damp climate, you'll get it building up from the combustion process.
If you drive 20 miles every day and it's hot and bone dry, then the exhaust should burn off anything that collected overnight and it shouldn't come back the rest of the day.
Check your coolant level, since another place water can come from is the head gasket gone AWOL.
Lambda just affects idle and transition to small throttle openings. If your idle is lumpy or erratic then lambda could be the culprit... but it checks for oxygen in the exhaust .. so nothing to do with smoke or condensation.
No bullets for Chaingun..
