147 JTD 16v Bosch MAF ?

Hiall, coming closer to fixing my car, just need to find a high value for money supplier for an original bosch MAF 0280218120 .

Does anyone know of a supplier, perhaps not even an online seller that has these at decent prices..? 200+ is mad

or maybe even a new sensor element rather than the whole thing..

Take the MAF out of the housing and make a note of the part number on that. Then google that part no as you will find it's the same part as lots of other cars. You will probably get it a lot cheaper ...

The "plastic housing tube" is made of a rare plastic material that increases the cost by 400%

I think that the MAF for 156 JTD 16V costs much less than for 147 JTD 16v, and you can take the sensing element out of the housing and mount it into yours. Sensing element itself is the same on both.

Eurocar parts sell some Alfa MAF's, pretty good prices with 15% off deal at moment and free delivery.
Also try local motor factors as they're usually cheaper than online - and that's with no trade discount.
And just to add, picked up a Mazda 6 today as although I love my Alfa, it has to go as I'm sick to death of bl**dy MAF problems

But make sure it's a BOSCH .... the rest are a waste of time, effort and most importantly money!

Got the maf, cleaned it lightly with alcohol and works a treat. The car is transformed! Rocket Ship !

Vauxhall 1.9 16v are the same engines, just maf housing is a bit different, but sensor is the same.
