GTV V6 crank sensor replacement

...mine needs replacing, cut out today after starting to misfire, had new coil packs and plugs so seems the logical thing to have failed.

Is it a reasonably straightforward job, have access to car ramps so getting under the car is not a major issue and have good selection of tools at my disposal

Yes. There's a connector plug and a couple of bolts (maybe hex head) and that's it.

Make sure that if the new one has an o-ring on it, that the old one also has an o-ring on it. If you take the old sensor one out and the o-ring stays stuck in its groove, the new sensor won't fit close enough to the pulley to do its thing. So.. make sure you remove the old o-ring. That's all.
