JTS big end shells

Hey guys, whats the crack with Alfa saying the bearings are supplied to a colour coded crank?? Where is the colour code

I'm thinking the shells will be the same as a Twink engine< someone tell me different

Info recieved will be filed and mentally imprinted for life

With the Twinspark, there are three "standard" sizes of shell marked with a colour on the side. You will be lucky to still be able to see the colour on old bearings though

TS and JTS (2.0 that is) are the same...Although i've not used standard shells on the engines i've done recently...
Find a good engien reconditioner (some one who skimms head and grinds cranks) they will sell you the correct shells...

Blimey always just asked for standard shells before and that what I got

Wonder why they all of a sudden wanted this info?? My "normal" parts supplier can do these (standard twinny) at a nice price

Rebuilding a JTS engined car after cambelt failure!

I've been unfortunate to not of had a simple cam belt failure but Bottom ends on my recent jobs...
