What oil for tuned diesel ?

Hi ! I have an alfa 147 1.9 jtd 8v and Need some engine oil but not 100% on what's best, think the standard is 10w40, car will be running more power than standard, ive been told 5w40 would be good ? In after a good quality oil ! Euro car parts have 20% off sometime be handy to get from there, any suggestions ? Thanks.

Either will be fine although I prefer 10w/40 semi-synthetic, but thats just a personal thing

Purely from a cost point of view. The engine is designed to run on semi and has been engineered for such. I see no reason to use fully.
