Millers....

Ok, I needed something to clean the injectors on my 1.9 JTDm, I did some reading and decided on Millers. Got a bottle from the local Halfords, when I got home I was in the garage opening the bottle when some spilt onto a bit of loft insulation foam board......

and it bloody well MELTED it.....a bit surprised.

So what is Millers doing to my engine???? Must be strong stuff.

That sort of stuff doesn't take much to melt it. Most solvents will have the same effect and I guess Millers is just some kind of specialist solvent.

Fairly common knowledge that Millers is never to be used in the 159, something about metal allurgy in the Soft Seated trunnion causing complete failure of the ASME/ANSI B16.10.
