what can i remove ?

hi ! i made an intake flange bit to replace the butterfly on my jtd 8v, now the egr valve is only connected to the exhaust manifold, i have blanking plates, can i take the pipe off and blank it thats on the manifold ?

what is the canister that is attached to egr valve for ? it has pipes coming off it and one goes across the front and down under the passenger side, whats this for ?

Any info ? apparently that big canister is the egr gas cooler ? and the pipes going to it are coolant ?

Yes. The coolant circulates in the canister to lower the temperature of the exhaust gases flowing back into the intake manifold.

Yes, Why dont you leave the canister and just blank it of from the exhaust manifold side

I just wanted to remove it because its useless now, but i may end up leaving it and just blanking from exhaust like you said, less hassle lol, cheers.

Removed every thing ! Silicone hose from the coolant cooler to the thermostat
