hi there this is my first post...anyway my misses has got a 2.4 jtd built 1999. anyway the engine sounded like it was electric for a while. but tonight the aux belt has started to shred. i thought it might have been to tight or is there a common thought. also the injecter sign is staying on all time. what does it mean?. also n,s front is sqeaking badly ive just replaced the top wishbone. is there a common fault im missing. last one....what the fu*k is that metal bar that looks like a pencil for in the tool kit that comes with the car...thanks in advance..

Sounds like the aux belt tensioner or idler has failed, causing your belt to go.

Injector light means there's a sensor fault somewhere, get the fault codes read before randomly changing any!

The pencil it to help you put the wheel on. Screw it into a bolt hole, fit wheel over it. Remember to remove it and fit the last bolt before driving off!
