V6 head gasket problem

I am currently rebuilding a 3.0 V6 24V, which has got a lot of water in the oil. Apart from the head gaskets, are there any other places I should be checking?

Speedmaster, thanks for your response. Is there a water - oil heat exchanger on the V6? If so, where should I be looking?

I'm not sure about some models but I'm inclined to say that the 3.0's don't have a heat exchanger - they run an oil cooler instead.

I'd get the heads skimmed if I were you!

Here is sample picture, but as Chris155 mentioned, i'm not 100% sure if 3.0 has exchanger. 2.5V6 for sure has.
Look near you oil filter. Tight place.

You Cheeky git! That's my sodding picture!!!

The block is a 3.0 but its got a 2.5 sandwich plate on it together with a brand new heat exchanger. If you look closely you can see that there is a metal pipe coming out the top of the heat exchanger pointing at the block, but as I was trial fitting it at the time, I hadn't taken out the core plug in the block nor fitted the hose that links the 2.
