Inlet manifold gasket

Hi,

I bit the bullet today and took the head back off my CF1 GTV to look for the oil leak.

The valve stem seals seem to be a large part of the problem (I have a spare set).

The inlet gasket though is being a right sod. The one I originally put on was metal, and didn't seal at all around the variator oilways. Even refitting it with sealant didn't do much good (and seems to have blocked one of said oilways).

So...is it possible to get a composite inlet manifold gasket? These usually have red sealant stuff on them, and seem to be a lot better.

Thanks,

Iain

Looks like hunting for 145-era gaskets might be the way to go

Like this one:

Can't tell if it's metal or composite though...

Edit: This one looks composite:
