Has anyone ever heard of a DMF knocking?
Basically the symptoms are a slight knock on tickover, only at idle and only when warm.
I've had it in to a reputable Alfa specialist and they have had it up in the air and come to the conclusion it is the DMF. It's done 80k and on the original clutch.
He thinks it should be okay to leave for a while until it gets worse. Apparently the only damage it could cause is to the clutch, which will be changed anyway.
What do you guys think?
