2 Litre TS CF2 Oil Leak

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if these 2L TS engines are prone to oil leaking from the balance shaft seals /covers at the transmission end of the block - not the timing belt end.

After many hours washing down the block as a means of tracking an oil leak in this area, I'm certain it is coming from that seal. There is no evidence of any oil draining down from above this area. Unfortunately means removing trans to get at it.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

While mine was at Clovertech on a ramp, Lloyd pointed to it. Had the seals done at the other end at Alfaworkshop when the belts were done. Not much oil leaking though.
