Power Steering fluid level above max

It's about 3mm above the MAX line. What negative consequences can I expect? Should I suck out the excess using a siphon?

Is that with the cap screwed in or dip stick wiped and then the cap just placed on top without screwing in? See what the manual says about taking the level. If you're worried, just use a syringe to take out the excess, there will be sufficient fluid left above min. line.

The reading was taken with the cap fully screwed in.

Any excess would just be lost via the short breather tube.

It won't be a problem.
