Help!! 156 JTD 1.9 2003 Problems starting

I'm having problems starting my 156 JTD 1.9 2003. When it's cold i wait for the heater plug light to go out then i start the car with no problems. However if i turn the engine off and try starting it 30 minutes or so later the car won't start, the heater plug light works ok but it just won't start. I then have to leave the car for a couple of hours, until it will start again. Any one else having the same problem, or can help? Many thanks.

Sounds like it could be the Crank Sensor (also know as RPM sender, Crank angle sensor, TDC Sensor)...
