GT JTS - what are these - see pics

I've posted this in another forum, but wanted to check the experts here as no-one seems to be responding over there, the alfa engine is full of 'things' I've never seen before

Thanks

mmm. breather hose by the looks of it. Do you do a lot of motorway driving as that tends to make the breather hose work hard and leak? Its got one of those pretensioned jubelee clips on it. You could swap it for a old fashioned screw jobby. I have to admit i've changed a few on all my alfas over the years as they don't seem that good.

THanks guys. Yes I've 63K on the clock and and would say 500 tops would be outside of m/w driving.

So I'm intreged by the pipework. Seems there is a short pipe from camcover then a set of pipes into a alloy lump with a metal pipe leading into the inlet, post MAF. What is that feed into the inlet yellow hat ?

Are there any schematics of this part of the engine and would healthy feed of oil vapour, blocked pipes into the inlet cause any air restricting confusing the ECU, just wondering if this is making the MCSF light come somehow ?

Got it I think. Pipework in pic 2 is the low pressure fuel pipe, metal pipe is high pressure. Breather is just a small straight into air stream pipe. My concern is that oil leak ( being tary vapour oil ) will corrode the pipe below, which is fuel related. Wonder how much tosh the breather throws in up-stream to MAF if working hard ?

So presume the low pressure fuel pipe is just vapour from main fuel pump ..

Phew so much to learn
