.. anyway I presume you're asking about the heater matrix used to heat the cabin (which is fed from the engine coolant) ... thinking logically, the matrix must be on a spur because you can't expect all the coolant to have to travel through it ...

no, the heat exhanger, a sandwich plate between the oil filter and it's housing. It's a thing only TS engines have

see the sandwich plate, it has a pipe that comes from the front of the crank case to it
