Drain the petrol out of the tank and replace with diesel, allow time for the residue petrol to mix with the diesel. If you can remove the fuel filter, do so, and replace with a fresh one. I've done this with a few cars where the owner had done just what you did and there were no problems. In really cold places a trick was to dilute diesel with petrol to prevent waxing of the diesel. The lines should clear quickly.

In some circumstances, the petrol can wash the oil film from the cylinder bores and wear occurs .. but it depends a lot on how many kms you drove and how much unleaded was in the fuel. More kms and more unleaded, more chance of permanent damage.
