Quinton Hazel water pump for the V6

Has anyone here fitted a Quinton Hazell waterpump to their V6? If so what are they like?

Buypartsby are selling them for £51 plus Vat, which is a good price.

I assume the one from Shop4parts is also a pattern one, but that costs £71 + Vat.

Cheers Alex.

I have had QH brake discs in the past and they were excellent, but never a QH waterpump.

My OE pump ran to 190,000 miles, so even if a QH one is half as good, you'll get 95,000 miles out of it.

190,000 miles is good going Ralf.

Mine has done 105k and the car will be due a belt change within the next 10,000 miles or so. So thats why I am thinking about changing it whist it is all apart.

I already got myself a genuine cambelt kit, including both rollers and a tensioner for £100 off ebay.

Aye! The old beast was very "loose" when I took it out but I only changed it because the cam-belt was off... I didn't think it could last another 60k..

I'll PM you the sellers ID when I get home later.

If you want one then you can send them a message.

The waterpump was from buypartsby.
