Dan,

do you know if it fits onto the 'unique' driveshafts of the 20v, especially as they are PSA-derived (IIRC)? I asked Quaife - they send technical drawing of the *size* of the LSD, but nothing on how it couples or mates with the shafts (ahem)

I would imagine that as the box is GM F40 the diff is also GM F40, and the driveshafts were chosen because they were compatible at the diff-end with the GM F40 diff, and then the hubs were specified to suit. But I don't know for sure, only way of telling would be to compare the standard diffs from your car to one belonging to Saab/Vauxhall. If you could find technical drawings of both this might be the easiest way of doing it. The diffs also might share the same part number at motorfactors if they are a common part.

I asked help, because i have all ready asked from Quaife.
Here is theirs answer:
Hello!
Please see drawing attached which the diff which I think is correct for your vehicle, once I know this is correct or not I can confirm what unit will fit your vehicle and if it is in stock or not.

Kind regards

I tryed to get original diff drawings from Finnish Alfa importer and from Alfa service. They couldnt give those and they didnt know does the Quaife diff fits.

The GM F40 Gearbox are used also in Saab and Vauxhall. Both have different part number. Saab uses part id:QDH9J, Vauxhall QDF25B.

Thats way I need to make sure what model fits in JTD 20v
