Hmmm Engine parts

can anybody tell me where i can buy new shells i cant find a website online to order the parts

You mean big end shells? Get Alfa ones from a main dealer, I paid 43 for a full set.

ok cheers mate wasnt sure if they would take my eyes out but that sounds fair would you know the tourqe settings for the big end shells??

I've seen one somewhere with the values in decaNm as well...

I'd be tempted with a dab of thread-lock as well. The engine I'm rebuilding failed because the conrod bolts on #1 came loose (or weren't correctly torqued to begin with)

I've just phoned the dealer for prices for shells. 9.09+VAT each. 2-4 days delivery.

You could try FPS (Ferraris Piston Services) ... they have a lot of branches. Whether they post parts out I'm not sure ... but I know Magnoletsi's do and they are an Alfa dealer. Also try AlfaWorkshop, AlfaShop (website still not yet up!), EBSpares, etc.
