2.0TS CF3 rebuild

Hi,

I'm going to be rebuilding most of a CF3 engine pretty soon (crankshaft/conrod replacement). A few questions before I start...

Should I replace the crankshaft oil seals?

What sealant is best for refitting the sump?

Does the head gasket go on dry, or does it need some sealant as well?

Cheers,

Iain

If you are removing the crank then yes, replace the seals

Loctite 598 is recommended I think

Loctite Gasket Seal Black 598 95g from Halfords Price 5.49

Head gaskets go on dry (on very clean surfaces)

Best of luck, let us know how it goes
