Hmmm Alfa 156 2.5 V6 Fuel Injector Sizes???

Does anyone know what size fuel injectors came standard in the 156 2.5 V6? I've got a 2000 model. Any info would be great, thanks.

18 lbs/hr or 189.2cc/min in that case...

Damn that's kinda close calculated :/

anyone has a clue if the 3.0 Injectors will work on a 2.5?
It will run rich at first but the ECU will adjust eventually.

I do have some 444ccm Injectors but i think that wouldn't run at all...

I woudldn't do it without remapping. running rich can wear your engine out quickly, and there's no guarantee the ecu can permanently adapt to the new injectors.

one 18 lbs injector is good for 40 bhp anyway, so are you planning on running over 240 bhp? got my 2.0 8v engine with the same injectors to 164.5 bhp (4 of them)

According to this website Vmax : Leistung ist uns ein Begriff !

6 Injectors with a fuel rate of 189.2 each will be enough for just about 216HP at 90% Duty and a healthy A/F Ratio.

From my project car i know this site is pretty much spot on...
i know that the ECU won't adjust to injectors with more than twice the flow, simply because the engine won't run with them..the intake will be flooded with fuel befor anything can ignite...

same thing with my outdated 370ccm's damn would've been to easy.

well, like I said, I have the same injectors in my 2.0 8v.... running 213.8 Nm and 164.5 bhp...

I don't deny the mixture leans out above 5000 Rpm though, in fact it's the primary bottleneck for more power... but 216 bhp seems right with 90% DC... the 2.0 runs 100% DC to get that figure.... you have to adhjust for timing advance though... if you manage to run more advance there's more power to be had from the same amount of fuel
