Help 3.0 V6 Engine, sounds like it wants to stall..

Hi all

Good morning, and the sun is shining, but Alfa Problems still exist....!

Ok, changed the plugs, air filter, oil etc etc.. all needed doing on my 99' 110k gtv.

the problem now is, it ticks over but it sounds like it wants to stall - but never quite does. The car runs fine when under acceleration, but sounds ropey on idle...idling at say 500 rpm, but sometimes goes lower. Upon start up from cold it is fine, once warm, sounds bad...

Any ideas what the issue could be, Chaps?

Thanks Andy

It sounds like a problem with the maf, did you remember to plug it back in when you were at the air filter

I speak from experience

If the engine was running fine before you done the service - you have done something during your job. Check all vaccum pipes, coils and inlet pipes which you take off to change the air filter.
It can't be too hard to find what's wrong.

did you mix up the HT lead sequence?

did you re-connect all the earth leads?

No HT leads in 24V engine. Also it is running smooth on higher revs as mentioned alfa_notts before.
