Re: Idle and cutting our problem, help!!
Been looking through the service and repair records
at the 48,000 service- Investigated reported surge when idling, cleared out throttle pot, and reset idle actualator
Then a later service (with no date or mileage, alfa romeo cheltenham)- Roadtest for idle fault checked on examiner, cleaned out throttle body and reset parameters, checked examiner imobilisor fault identidyed- new keybox required.
Then is 2006 new electro valve part no 71713829 (idling unit) was replaced.
I wonder now what it could be as most of the likely candidates have been done. Ill have to wait and see what the motor lecky brings up. Hopeing its just needs recoding or something
Anyone got any ideas on how this info changes things?
